2 cups flour
2 cups water
1/2 cup salt
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
2 tsp cream of tartar

Food colouring  (Vivid colours can be made with the concentrated colour paste for cake decorating)

Mix all ingredients together in a pot.  Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly.  Don't overcook!  Knead until smooth.  When cool, store in an airtight container.
